HACWN Writer's Conference 2009

Every year I attend HACWN's writer's conference, I go with different expectations and different needs. It amazes me how God provides exactly what I need and more.

The classes I attended were incredably helpful. I met with editors who have many openings and opportunities available for freelancers. Among them was Linda Canup for In Touch with Charles Stanley, Ginger Kabolba for Christianity Today publications, and Dwight Wideman with Metro Voice Newspaper, Kansas City.

While I'd love to write for any of these publications, I met a successful Christian Romance agent out of New York who likes my story telling and invited me to send her my manuscript once it is complete. So, it's time for me to buckle down and finish my Finding Beth manuscript. I won't be posting any more chapters of Beth on the blog, but I will post updates from time to time on my progress and, hopefully, the publishing process. So, stay tuned and together let's discover what God will do.
