A Bit of Christmastime Reflection

Today is a good day. I have all my boys home for Christmas. We were given a beautiful Christmas tree and somehow presents have mysteriously appeared beneath it. I've celebrated Finding Beth's second birthday AND this #CollegeGirl not only survived her first semester of her Freshman year of college, but she overcame it!! Yes, I cried. I was so afraid of failing algebra. And Speech. I don't know how I passed psychology with an A, but I'm ecstatic over that grade! And English? Being a published author, you can imagine the horror I would have experienced with anything less than an A. When it came to the last major writing assignment and then my final, I was so afraid I'd flubbed up big time. So when I logged on and saw MWA #4 100% , I started shaking.
Then I saw Final - part one, 100% and scrambled to see Final - part two. Yes. 100%! I wept. Not just tears of joy, but of relief. I had not failed, but excelled and I cannot tell you what it meant to me to see those grades. I logged in today to see my final grades in all four classes: Math - B; Speech - B; Psychology - A; English - A, equaling a 3.5 GPA!
I smell scholarships coming my way. Yes I do. Thank you, Lord!!!

Another blessing this year has been my advent into freelance work once again, this time with Lexington Life Magazine. I not only get to interview and get to know people in my community and write about them, but I also get paid to do it! God is so good!!! I truly enjoy the work they give me to do and was honored to attend the Christmas party this year. There was this really fun photo "booth" and guess who was the guest of honor, but Buddy the Elf! I took some other fun pics, as well, but you'll have to visit my Facebook page or Pinterest to see them. IF I decide to load them. :-)

Another adventure I decided to take on this Fall is becoming a Thirty-One consultant. There's nothing like trying to piece-mill your income together, am I right? I love the products and I love sharing them with others. If you decide to look Thirty-One up online, be sure you search for "Linnette Mullin" in the "search for consultants" search bar. Unless you already have a consultant, of course. ;-)

Now, I'm off to write my randomly sent newsletter. To sign up for it, click on "Special News" on the sidebar, or here. I promise not to spam your email. I wish each of you a wonderful Christmas and a very happy new year!
