Christmas at Tiffany's
Growing up without a mother and with an abusive father, Tiffany determined Christmas would always be special for her boys. On Christmas morning, they would spend the day together - just the three of them. They'd open one present each as soon as they all climbed out of bed and then they'd cook a big breakfast together. Breakfast eaten and cleaned up, they'd open their other gifts. Then, while the boys enjoy their new toys and games, Tiffany would cook their Christmas dinner. They'd end the day by watching their favorite Christmas movies and eating their favorite Christmas foods.
So, why did she have the feeling that this Christmas would be different from any they'd ever had?
What are some of your favorite Christmas traditions? Tiffany wants to know.

Adam Blythe finds himself drawn to Beth – a woman engaged to another. But after being spurned, he refuses to be the other man. Besides, he lives hundreds of miles away, has a chronically ill mother to care for and a family business to run. Yet, Beth’s vulnerability calls to him and the gentleman in him cannot turn away.
Kyle Heinrich always gets his way. When Beth returns home two weeks after her little disappearing act and breaks off their engagement, he isn’t too happy. Even less so when some guy shows up on her doorstep and makes her light up in a way he never could. Not that it really matters, because, one way or another, Beth will be his.

Actually, Christmas Eve is more special for me then Christmas. We have dinner with the family, go to church for 11 pm candlelight service. Usually we'd go to my Mom's after that to open one gift each and have hot chocolate and cookies, then to bed. This year we're spending Christmas with my in-laws, so the after-service stuff won't happen.
Christmas morning was stockings, gifts, and breakfast with in-laws, then to my Mom's to do the same, then to extended family Christmas at an aunt or uncle's house.
Being with family and getting gifts is nice, but it's all about the Christmas Eve candlelight service for me. :-)
That's awesome, Kimberly! We have a Christmas Eve candle light service here at our church, but I always miss it since I go visit family. I think our tradition, as long as we're here, will be a trip back home to see family and friends. The schedule changes depending on what day Christmas falls on. But John, the boys and I will probably have ours on New Years Eve for now. :D
