"I can't wait to have a row of your books sitting on my shelf. I'm absolutely loving your work. Keep it coming!" ~Marcie

Update on Finding Beth

Hey, folks! I hope you're new year is going well. Mine has been a slow kind of busy. I have kids at home sick with bronchitis so the house has been somewhat quiet since the New Year.

I finished my first book proposal and sent it into an agent. It will probably take him a while to get to it, so I'm exploring other options in case that one falls through.

Also, the pending title of my book series is:
"The Healing Touch of Smoky Mountain Love"

I'm looking into entering contests. I've written a 400 flash fiction story and entered it into an on-line contest. And I've written yet another short story for Woman's World in hopes they might like it enough to publish it. There are other short stories I'm considering submitting for contests, but haven't decided yet.

I'm also preparing to start Tiffany's story. As soon as I'm done here, I'll open a new document and start clicking away at the keys.

Stay happy and healthy!

"Finding Beth"

A runaway bride-to-be…

A Southern boy-next-door…

A possessive fiancĂ© determined to make her his –

One way or another…

Afraid she's about to make the biggest mistake of her life, Beth Gallagher flees to the Smoky Mountains for refuge. A new friend helps her find the answers she needs, but will she have the courage to follow through with her decision? And if she does, what might it cost her?

Adam Blythe finds himself drawn to Beth – a woman engaged to another. But after being spurned, he refuses to be the other man. Besides, he lives hundreds of miles away, has a chronically ill mother to care for and a family business to run. Yet, Beth’s vulnerability calls to him and the gentleman in him cannot turn away.

Kyle Heinrich always gets his way. When Beth returns home two weeks after her little disappearing act and breaks off their engagement, he isn’t too happy. Even less so when some guy shows up on her doorstep and makes her light up in a way he never could. Not that it really matters, because, one way or another, Beth will be his.

Will Beth learn to trust God again and find the courage to face her fears? And if she does, will it bring the peace and healing she so desperately needs?

Tiffany's Story:

After suffering a lifetime of abuse from every man who should have loved her, Tiffany Nash finds herself longing for a love like her friend, Beth, found.

Afraid to love again after the betrayal and death of his highschool sweetheart, Michael Olivier finds himself drawn to the fiesty woman who can't seem to break down the barriers of her own heart.

And who's the new guy? Wealthy Reece Kemper - Tiffany's new boss and admirer, is out to make an alliance that will convenience them both. Can he truly provide the security Tiffany seeks?

And what of Michael's God? Can she trust a God who demands her all? Can she afford not to?

The Ragged Edge - A Life Changing Experience!

"To You, O LORD, I call; my rock, be not deaf to me, lest, if You be silent to me, I become like those who go down to the pit. Hear the voice of my pleas for mercy, when I cry to You for help, when I lift up my hands toward your most holy sanctuary." Psalm 28:1-2, ESV

"We love because He first loved us." (1 John 4:19, ESV) "Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her..." (Ephesians 5:25, ESV)

Humility:

"The eye fixed on Christ sees clearly, succumbing to neither pride nor inferiority, because it is not concerned with the self at all." Andree Seu, World Magazine
